| By Car | ||||||||
| From Junction 25 on the M5 motorway take the A358 following signs to Minehead. This will take you on to a dual carriageway going towards the centre of Taunton. Turn right at a roundabout with the Wickes retail outlet on the corner. This will take you over the Obridge Viaduct. At the next roundabout turn left on to Priorswood Road. Take the third left on to Obridge Road (there is a signpost marked "SCC Record Office"). Take the first left and the Record Office and car park are on your left. | ||||||||

| By Rail | ||||||||
|
Taunton Station is about 10 minutes' walk from the Record Office. Alternatively, taxis are available. To walk, leave the station through the main entrance and turn right. Continue walking to the end of the road past some sheltered accommodation and at the traffic lights turn right into Priorswood Road. Continue on the right hand side past the Gardener's Arms public house and a modern housing estate. Turn right down Obridge Road which is signposted to the Record Office. |

| By Bus | ||||||||
| The long-distance coach/bus station is about two miles from the Record Office in the centre of Taunton. Catch the no 2 yellow shuttle bus from the bus station to Priorswood Road. These run about every 15 minutes and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Catch the no 1 bus from Priorswood Road for the return journey. | ||||||||
