Once you are registered you can search for opportunities and to receive alerts related to your areas of interest.

Social Value Policy Statement
This policy statement outlines how we will embed social value in the way we commission all our activities to benefit residents, communities, businesses and visitors across the county.

Draft Single Market Position Statement

This is the first time Somerset County Council has produced a Single Market Position Statement covering all the markets we are involved with, not just our Adult Social Care markets.

It is not a list of things that we might procure (buy) in the future. It is fundamentally about how we want to work with our markets, providers and partners to innovate and deliver our vision for Somerset, because we cannot deliver this vision on our own.

We see this document as the start of a more coherent approach to our development with our markets. It should be read as a working document which has been designed to start a conversation. We therefore welcome your feedback and promise to listen and respond. Commissioners within the various service areas of the Council will be engaging with their markets to discuss, but if you already work with the council and wish to provide feedback on this approach please get in touch.

We are very deliberately publishing this as a draft first so that our markets can help us refine it. We expect this to inform changes to this Market Position Statement document, and to how we work with the market to meet the future needs of the people of Somerset.
