Biography

David Huxtable runs his own business and is Somerset County Council's longest serving member. He has been involved in all aspects of the Council over those years and is currently Cabinet member for Adult Social Care. When time allows, he plays golf or goes sailing.

  • To be accountable for policy development and the financial and operational performance of services within their area of responsibility, including meeting the requirements of the County Plan and the Medium Term Financial Plan
