opportunities it may offer you.
Somerset County Council employs over 14,000 people in it's
various departments and establishments and is the County's
largest employer. Most of the employees are engaged
in front line services to the public and the County Council
is committed to making it's services readily available to
the people of Somerset.
Many of the work placements will be office based and offer
the opportunity to gain experience in clerical and/or financial
procedures. There are also alternative opportunities with a range of county council services including rights of way, animal health and welfare, scientific, manual, care, library, ICT, etc.

Education Business Partneship database, you have found
a work experience placement which you feel would benefit
and interest you your next step is to complete the Work
Experience Request Form (click
here to download).
Once you
have downloaded the Work Experience Request Form, completed
and saved it to the hard drive on your computer you can
submit the form electronically by completing the details
below and clicking-on 'Submit Form'. Please contact the office on (01823) 355440 if you have not received a personal acknowledgement within 10 working days.
