Council Tax

Your Council Tax helps to pay for spending by Somerset County Council, Avon and Somerset Police Authority, Deveon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority, your local district council and your local parish council. Spending is also supported by government grants, a contribution from the central Non-Domestic Rates (Business Rates) pool, fees, charges and other income.
