Selling to the Council
Somerset County Council is a medium sized county with a population of 498,093 (2001 census). The Council itself purchases around £200 million in goods and services each year. This covers thousands of different items and services, ranging from light bulbs to vehicle fleets.
Naturally many organisations will want to sell to the council, so we have put together these pages to assist suppliers and contractors who wish to supply Somerset County Council with goods and services, by:
