Change for Children Steering Group

The Change for Children Steering Group is a multi-agency group and its overall purpose is to translate the Vision for Children’s Services into reality. It does this by overseeing the work of the implementation working groups and driving projects to ensure they are all on target and reports progress on these to the SCYPP quarterly.
The implementation working groups are organised according to the key issues to be tackled to move forward the Every Child Matters agenda and are short-term and time-limited. The Groups that report to the Change for Children Steering Group are:

Area Planning Leads;

Localities and Extended Services Steering Group;

Information Sharing Index Project Board;

Common Assessment Framework Implementation Group (including development of Lead Professional);

Workforce Development Group;

Joint Area Review (JAR) Working Group;

Participation Steering Group.
