Annual Plan
The Annual Plan details our Mission, Vision and Values and our aims and priorities for the year.
The Annual Plan aims and priorities are based on the long term vision for Somerset, set out in the Somerset Community Strategy (SCS) and the Local Area Agreement (LAA). The aims and priorities are shaped by local needs, government legislation, policy commitments, local expectations and our partner organisations.
The Annual Plan details what actions we will do to achieve the aims and priorities and the performance indicators we will use to measure our progress in completing the actions.
The Annual Plan ensures that we are clear about what the council is going to achieve in the next year.
