Somerset County Council Logos with departmental/second line info

Option (a) Option (bi) Option (bii)

Each Directorate and service area within Somerset County Council should be strongly identified as being part of the County Council. The logo must appear on the top right hand corner of all stationery. Any individual additional logo’s may detract from the primary image of the SCC logo and must be positioned carefully. If you wish to use any other logo it is suggested that you contact the Communications and Marketing Team for advice.

Directorate names should appear under the SCC logo (no more than two lines) and/or at the top, ranged left, where additional wording may be used.

All letterheads now have to carry the Beacon logo won by Early Years bottom left. This should appear in the County Council corporate colour pantone 215 with main square of the logo 18mmx18mm. Wherever possible, the text "2004-2005 Early Years + Childcare: the Sure Start Agenda" should appear. The new County Council strapline "Lets Make a Difference" should also be printed in pantone 215 and centred at the bottom of the letterhead in the font 'Justlefthand' in 22 point. Design & Print have this font and will make changes to all stationary. All this only applies to letterheads; not compliment slips and business cards.

The main County Hall switchboard number is being phased out and shouldn't be present on any stationery. It is asked that direct dial telephone numbers should be on letterheads, compliment slips and business cards wherever possible. The relevant Somerset Direct theme can only be used on stationary if this has been agreed in advance with Somerset Direct or your Directorate Liasin Officer (DLO).
