Use of Recycled Paper

All Somerset County Council Departments should use a genuine recycled paper for documents, which guarantees that the paper has been made using post-consumer waste. All County Council stationery is made from recycled paper. Therefore, the appropriate recycle logo should be used on all stationery and documents where relevant.

Wherever possible, all letters and documents should be printed/photocopied on both sides.

Other establishments (e.g. schools) are asked to adopt a similar policy regarding use of recycled paper.
