Community Legal Advice Information
Community Legal Advice is a free government-funded confidential advice service. If you live on a low income or benefits you can get independent advice about debt, education, benefits and tax credits, employment and housing problems by calling 0845 345 4 345. Calls cost no more than 4p per minute from a BT landline but calls from mobiles are usually more. If you’re worried about the cost just ask an adviser to call you back.
We've also got lots of information leaflets that cover common legal problems. They explain the law and help you get the right advice. You can read or download them at
http://www.communitylegaladvice.org.uk. On our website you can find general information and legal factsheets in Welsh, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Turkish and Urdu.
For more information see the Financial Support and Benefits section of our website, which contains links to other advice agencies in Somerset.
