Cultural Cooperation
For everyone with an interest in cultural cooperation across Europe and beyond, EUCLID is a very important one-stop shop. Founded in 1993, this small consultancy based in Manchester and Liverpool, which provides European & international information, research and consultancy services to the cultural sector is also the official the Cultural Contact Point for the UK (CCP)
EUCLID has been appointed to fulfil this function by the European Commission (EC) and the Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) in the UK. The main role of the CCP is to promote the Culture 2000/2007 programme, the European Union's funding programme to support projects in the arts (performing arts, visual arts and books & reading) and heritage sectors. In addition, the CCP is encouraged to provide information and guidance on other EC funding opportunities for the cultural sector.
