Europe Team Introduction
The Europe Team is a small core group of officers and support staff, who advocates a European dimension for Somerset and advises Somerset County Council and its partners on how to benefit from European funding and influence.
The team is located within the Economy and Europe Group, which belongs to the Community Regeneration Service in the Community Directorate, but works with all services and directorates, where appropriate.
For local, regional and national networking and professional development purposes, the team is involved with partners and organisations from many different places.
In the past, direct project involvement has also led to the delivery of some events, examples of which from the past year can equally be found in this section.
