Libraries are a really good place to find help with your homework. We have books on every topic and some reference books such as encyclopaedias. Library staff are always happy to help.
You also have access to a number of online sources that we subscribe to. These services are available for free 24 hours a day from home, or from any library computer during normal opening hours. All you need is your library membership card number.

Encyclopaedia Britannica - this online version of the Encyclopaedia Britannica including the complete encyclopaedia as well as Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and Thesaurus, the Britannica Book of the Year and an Internet directory.(free home access available with membership card number and in all libraries)

Issues Online - this is a database of articles on contemporary social issues. It provides a wide range of information with news and views on various topics, key facts, statistics, newspaper archives, reference sites and research guides.
