Reading, Music and Movies for Young People

Whatever your taste in books, music and film, you're bound to find something worth borrowing in the library. There are books, talking books, CDs, videos and DVDs of interest to children of all ages.

If an item is not in your local library we can request it from another library (there may be a small charge for this) Requests for children's books are free.

If you are trying to find details of a CD, DVD or talking book you  try searching our free online database searchMuze . It contains 830,000 music and 108,000 DVD/VHS entries on all UK released music, including pop, classical, sound tracks and spoken word, and also film sound tracks, DVD and VHS. (free home access available with membership card number and in all libraries)
