By using the link provided users are able to access the latest economic data (business growth, deprivation, earnings, house prices, productivity and unemployment). These indicators compare the county with the regional and national averages, and also go down to a sub-county level where available.

We have undertaken a significant redesign of the Somerset Economic Digest to align this document with the economic information available on Somerset County Council’s website. This document provides a snapshot of Somerset’s economy and labour market along with a summary of the short-term outlook, and will be updated annually where data is available.
