Somerset Rural Life Oral Archive - began in a small way when it became apparent that with the great technological advances that followed World War II, many of the old rural crafts and ways of life were rapidly disappearing.
The collection which is available to all, now contains over 453 recordings amongst which the traditional Somerset Industries are well represented.
Help is needed with transcribing, scanning and digitising the collection.
