This page contains information about the project organisation, time table links to other projects and how you can contribute.
Project organisation
The project is managed by a steering group, composed of key players in the archaeological community of the South West. These include the Council for British Archaeology, professional archaeological contractors, academic institutions, local government archaeologists, English Heritage, museums, local societies and active individuals.
The project is coordinated by Chris Webster who has been seconded from the Somerset Historic Environment Record for just over two years to undertake the Resource Assessment and Research Agenda. The Research Strategy will form a second phase of the project, to be decided at the end of phase one.
