This team uses a tange of modern scientific instrumentation to measure the concentration of trace elements and compounds in samples of food, water, air, soil and other materials.
Typical analysis that is performed included the measurement of trace metals such as lead, calcium, arsenic and mercury in air, food, water and soils, the mesaurement of pesticide residues in food and water, the determination of mycotoxins in food and animal feeds and the determination of vitamins and minerals in food and animal feeds. The service is provided via local Environmental Health and Trading Standards departments.
