We aim to ensure that Weights and Measures legislation is enforced throughout Somerset to achieve a fair trading environment where all the weighing and measuring equipment can be relied upon to be accurate and to be used correctly, whether it is a farm, in a factory, pub or other retail outlet. To help the environment, we aim to assist all producers in the County to minimise the packaging used and to ensure that goods vehicles are not overloaded.
