Concessionary Fares

English National Concessionary Travel Scheme Pass.

From 1st April 2008 the Somerset entitlement to free bus travel was extended to allow free bus travel in every area of England.
This means that whether using the bus locally, or when visiting other parts of England, Concessionary Pass Holders are able to travel for free.

Your pass will still be subject to time restrictions, which may vary slightly across England, and will not be valid on long distance coaches such as National Express.
The time restrictions in Somerset will remain as: between 9am & 11pm Monday-Friday and all day at weekends and on Public Holidays.

Somerset Travelpasses remain valid until 30th September 2008 for use within Somerset ONLY.

English National Concessionary Travel Scheme Passes are available for those who are over 60 years old or eligible on the grounds of disability.

Please see the links on this page for full details.
