Transport

Home To School Transport

Home to school transport assistance is provided in accordance with Sections 444 and 509 of the Education Act 1996 for eligible pupils of statutory school age, (First Year Infants class until the end of Year 11).  The assistance is at the start and end of the school day.

We will provide a place on a suitable Somerset County Council vehicle or contracted school bus, or issue a season ticket for the public bus.  If there is no vehicle available we will provide the parent with a petrol allowance if they are able to transport their child themselves.
