Taunton's Saturday Christmas Park & Ride

Take a nostalgic trip down Memory Lane during this festive season by hopping aboard Taunton’s unique Saturday Christmas Park & Ride.
Reminisce about the ‘Good old days’ as you are gracefully transported in period style by one of Quantock Motor Services' fleet of beautifully restored heritage buses from Deane Gate Avenue directly to Taunton Town Centre.
Buses on the service include both single and double deck vehicles, each with their own unique history manned by helpful and courteous staff who offer ‘good old fashioned’ high levels of service.

The dedicated Saturday Park & Ride Car Parks are located at Deane Gate Avenue, just off of Junction 25 of the M5.
This Park & Ride is also handy for visitors from Bridgwater, Ilminster, Chard and other areas in Sedgemoor & South Somerset
Just follow the yellow signs.
The subsidised fare is a vintage price at just 50p return per adult (or 10 shillings) with accompanied children travelling for free.

Buses run at 10 minutes intervals between 9.30am & 6pm

Our dedicated bus stop in the town centre is directly outside Waterstones Bookshop, handy for all the town centre stores.
A return bus will be waiting on the stop throughout the day to ensure you do not have to wait out in the cold.
The service is jointly funded by Somerset County Council & Taunton Deane Borough Council & runs every Saturday from the 24th November 2007 up to and including the 22nd December 2007 with buses running at frequent 10 minute intervals between 9.30am & 6.00pm.
