Mendip District Council, South Somerset District Council and Exmoor National Park, are responsible for the maintenance and enforcement of public rights of way through an Agreement with the County Council. The maintenance and enforcement of public rights of way in Taunton Deane, Sedgemoor and West Somerset (excluding the area within Exmoor National Park) is undertaken directly by us.
