Here you will find all the information you need to help you understand how School Admissions operate in Somerset.
Apply online for Starting and Transferring School in September 2009 from 1st September 2008.
If your child is known by the Local Authority (LA) and is eligible to Start or Transfer School in September 2009, The School Admissions Team will send you a School Place Application Pack - A Guide for Parents, towards the end of July and during August. You will be issued with a Unique Identification Number (UID) for your child which will enable you to make a secure school place application for your child. If, by September you have not received your pack, please call Somerset Direct on 0845 456 4038 and an advisor will arrange for one to be sent to you.
