Somerset Skills & Learning is part of Somerset County Council. Most of our adult and community learning and Further Education activities are funded by The Learning and Skills Council, and we often work in close collaboration with other council departments and outside agencies such as Job Centres and health service providers.
We offer learning for all adults, families and communities across over 400 locations within Somerset.
At the heart of our service lies a belief that every member of the community must be treated as an individual and have the encouragement and opportunity to fulfil their aspirations. We achieve this by working closely with local community groups and other service providers, as well as voluntary and statutory organisations.
