Somerset County Council is responsible for publishing the school term dates and holiday information. Information for the current and next academic years are shown below.

2007-2008 Academic Year
Somerset have agreed a 195 day school calendar for 2007/2008 which allows flexibility in the setting of INSET days. The principles articulated by the Teaching Associations have been honoured as far as possible e.g.:
- a six week summer break
- full weeks (i.e. starting on a Monday and ending on a Friday) and;
- equal length terms, as far as dates allow.
Autumn Term Attendance:
Monday 3rd September 2007 - Friday 19th October 2007 (35 days)
Monday 29th October 2007 - Friday 21st December 2007 (40 days)
Spring Term Attendance:
Monday 7th January 2008 - Friday 15th February 2008 (30 days)
Monday 25th February 2008 - Friday 4th April 2008 (28 days)
Summer Term Attendance:
Monday 21st April 2008 - Friday 23rd May 2008 (24 days)
Monday 2nd June 2008 - Wednesday 23rd July 2008 (38 days)
