Home School Agreement

The School Standards and Framework Act, 1998, (Section 110), required the governing bodies of all state-funded schools to adopt a home-school agreement. Somerset County Council LEA Schools adopted this Act in September 1999.

The Act states that an agreement is a statement which explains the school's aims and values and the responsibilities of the school to the pupils and parents. Printed Agreements are normally sent out to all pupils/parents/guardians, by the School.
