Southwest One is a joint venture between Somerset County Council, Taunton
Deane Borough Council, Avon and Somerset Constabulary and IBM. The vision
of Southwest One is to enable the social transformation of Taunton, Somerset
and the South West to deliver better value for money for council taxpayers
and improve access to services for local residents.
Southwest One is great news for local residents. It aims to:
- Create efficiency savings
- Develop new ways for people to access public services
- Help the councils and the police improve services to the community
- Support the development of the local economy
