Adaptations - Private Property

Somerset County Council employ Occupational Therapists who may identify the need for any larger adaptations to your home.   With your agreement, and where appropriate, the Occupational Therapy Service will contact your area District Council or relevant Home Improvement Agency and make a recommendation for a Disabled Facilities Grant.   The District Council/Home Improvement Agency will assist you in your application, and give information about the grant, which is means tested.
