The Community Inclusion and Activity Team (CIA team) support families who have children with disabilities and/or additional needs by providing information, signposting, and support with accessing clubs and activities in their local community. This includes providing free activity day passes, as well as MAX cards, which provide discounted entry to a number of attractions. The CIA team deliver inclusive activities during school holidays, as well as monthly family drop in clubs and Teen club during term time. Tickets for these events are always popular, so make sure you call the CIA team on 07977 412199 on the 29th November from 10am to book your places. Tickets will be limited to one train journey per family, with the option to be added to the waiting list for the other train ride subject to availability.
The December activity calendar is now live and there’s a variety of activities available for children and young people who have a disability and/or additional need. These include family holiday fun with Purple Elephant, horse care with EAQ, outdoor activities with Neroche and Ark, Santa Cruise with Escape, and fun packed activity days at Mendip school, Fairmead and Brookside Academy. Book early to avoid disappointment!
