Covid 19 Advice and Support for Somerset Businesses
We now have learning from Coronavirus outbreaks around the country, about how they are occurring within workforces, through activities in and out of work. Minimise the risks by listening to advice from our public health team. Suitable for businesses with 50+ employees.

Step Up Somerset

Employers across Somerset can now gather information from the website www.stepupsomerset.org.uk on redundancy support for their workforce, staff development and offering apprenticeships or industry placements to young people.

The website also provides a platform for promoting any recruitment or development events available to attend.

Support for those affected by Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Budget has announced a plan to provide support for public services, individuals and businesses affected by COVID-19. The Chancellor has set out a £12 billion package of temporary, timely and targeted measures to support public services, businesses, the voluntary sector and individuals through the economic disruption caused by COVID-19.
