Spaeda is Somerset’s only arts education agency. Based at Hestercombe House near Taunton, the charity provides educational training and resources in and through the arts to inspire confidence, build self-esteem, nurture creativity, raise aspiration, and develop resilience in children and young people.

We’re passionate about the difference the arts make to the lives of the children and young people . We believe that all children are entitled to a creative education and access to culture.

We are a strategic delivery partner in a new consortium of arts organisations called InspirED. In partnership with Spaeda, InspirED provides a joined up network of dance, drama, visual arts and digital media to schools across Somerset.

Spaeda is a charity that relies solely on fund raising to deliver its remit of providing a high standard of arts provision to all children and young people throughout Somerset and beyond. All income generated by Spaeda’s activities are reinvested to meet its charitable aims.
