We offer advice to help Somerset employers reduce sickness absence and ill health costs, to improve work performance, productivity and morale.

We also offer support to achieve the Somerset Healthy Workplace Award, which covers:

  • Healthy Workplace Management and Leadership, such as sickness absence management, stress management and employing people with long-term health conditions.
  • Health Awareness and Improvement, such as preventing back pain, promoting physical activity, stopping smoking and healthy weight.
  • Corporate Responsibility, such as through active commuting and travel, and involvement in community health and wellbeing.
