StreetWave surveyed mobile coverage across the council area using equipment installed in the council recycling vehicles. This data helps residents and businesses understand mobile coverage in their area.

Mobile network operators
The data is based on signal measurements from the UK’s four mobile network operators (MNOs). These companies own and run their mobile networks.
The four mobile network operators are:

Mobile virtual network operators
Mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) provide mobile services using the networks owned by mobile network operators.
