The planning process under the Gravity Local Development Order

LDO (Local Development Order) Compliance Applications

Prior to development commencing, applicants must submit an Local Development Order (LDO) Compliance Application. The Local Planning Authority will assess the alignment of the proposals with the parameters approved in the Gravity Local Development Order (LDO), the Design Guide, mitigation checklist items, conditions and Section 106 Agreement obligations. If the application is deemed to be compliant, a Notice of Compliance will be issued.

Early Works

Various enabling works known as ‘Early Works’ are permitted under the Gravity Local Development Order (LDO) Section 106 Agreement. Notifications are required by the Local Planning Authority (LPA) prior to such works commencing, and the following notifications works been received to date:
