Community Impact Mitigation Fund overview
The Hinkley Point C Site Preparation Works application was consented by Somerset Council on the 27 January 2012.
In granting the planning application a series of measures to mitigate the impact of the works were secured. One of these was the creation of a £7.2million fund known as the Hinkley Point C Community Impact Mitigation (CIM) Fund.
How to apply
Information on the Hinkley Point C Community Fund is available on the Hinkley Point C Community Fund website. The fund is open for applications for community projects that aim to mitigate impacts of the Hinkley Point C developments or that maximise opportunities that Hinkley Point C offers for local people.
The Hinkley Point C Community Impact Mitigation Fund supported more than 50 projects and a list is available on request.
