Description
We are an independent committee led pre-school who offer a wide variety of indoor and outdoor experiences including Forest School. Our children spend most of their time in mixed age groups, much like they would in a family home; we encourage the older children to be good role models for the younger children. All children are encouraged to make independent play choices alongside adult led times of the day. ; ; We start each morning as a whole group enjoying a book, singing as a group and sharing news. It’s usual for each child to spend daily quality time with their key person. We hold regular 1:1 meetings with parents which gives us the chance to share our Learning Diary observations and enables time to chat about the child, their development and differences observed between home and pre-school. ; We are open term time 9 am until 3.30 pm.
