The Pre-school is within the grounds of St George’s Catholic School, in a purpose-built modular building and welcomes all members of the community. At St George’s pre-school, the staff team will do our very best to accommodate your needs and the needs of your child. We are always willing to undertake new training and increase our knowledge to provide the very best support for your child. Please ask if you require any information not mentioned on this page. At St George’s Pre School, children are encouraged to explore our stimulating play-based environment within our single-room setting and large outdoor garden, where free-flow play between indoors and outdoors is actively encouraged. Through play, children develop their understanding of the world around them while building social, physical, creative and intellectual skills. Each child is supported by a dedicated key person who works closely with them and their parents/carers. Staff provide personalised support and plan for each child’s care, well-being and learning, ensuring their individual needs are nurtured and their development is fully supported.
