Offers advice and development opportunities to governors and clerks in Somerset schools

IntroductionWhat we do

Introduction

Somerset Governor Services, based at County Hall in Taunton, offers advice and development opportunities to governors and clerks in Somerset schools. Our aim is to enhance leadership and management in schools to support the raising of educational achievement and improve the life chances for all young people in the county.

To meet the needs of governing bodies, we work openly with a variety of other organisations including the Diocese of Bath and Wells and the Diocese of Clifton. We regularly review our practice to maintain a high quality of service and support.
