Introduction
The Schools Forum is a statutory body that provides a channel of communication between the local authority and schools. It serves as a mechanism for consultation on school funding.
It is made up of school members, non-school members, and other attendees and observers – including the Cabinet member for Education and officers of the Council.
School membership is representative and proportionate to pupil numbers in the relevant sector. Non-school membership includes 16 to 19 and Early Years provision.
