Congratulations to Sara Skirton for securing the Tier 3 Service Director for Partnerships and Localities role. Sara has been working to develop and roll-out Local Community Networks (LCNs) as laid out in the unitary business case.

What are LCNs – in a nutshell?

LCNs encourage community engagement and development; they are about listening, sharing and local partnership working. They look to improve outcomes for residents. They provide the strong connection between Somerset Council, our residents, businesses, and partners. They are the voice of local communities. There will be 18 LCNs covering every corner of the new Somerset Councill area.
