Customer service points
Get information, advice, and support on any Council services by visiting us in person at one of our Customer Service Points (CSP’s). In these locations you will be greeted by a member of the Customer Service team who will help you in person with your enquiry. You will receive support in assessing our digital forms and be able to provide documents to us.
Customer access points
Our Customer Access points (CAP’s) provide assisted digital access to our online services and virtual meetings. In these locations, which includes all libraries and some partner locations, you will be supported to use our online services.
You can also bring in documentation to be digitally uploaded and sent to the appropriate Somerset Council team.
Connect with VAL – Our Video Assistant Link (VAL) allows you to video call our customer service teams directly and is available at all CAPs. Ask VAL anything about the Council and our services. It’s easy to use, simply talk to member of staff when visiting a CAP to get set up.

Customer Access Points will be open in line with the location. However, VAL will only be open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
