Description
The Unstoppables is a group for young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) aged between 13-25 who want to have their voice heard about their lived experiences and help to make changes to and shape the services that affect them.
What do we do?
We help services do their job better. We help services to understand our needs better. We make posters, leaflets, and other things to help professionals help us.
We also:
- New people
- Team work
- Become more confident
- Improve our communication skills
- Socialise
- Events
Why do we enjoy coming?
We get to plan our day and communicate about things that are important to us. We help other young people have a voice. The group is completely inclusive – we do our best to meet everyone’s needs.
- Being around others with SEND
- It’s safe and confidential
- We eat food together!
- We have fun!
Come and join us!
