Description

We are excited to be teaming up with Heidi Humpage for a practical, parent-friendly workshop offering simple, research-based strategies to boost your child’s reading, spelling, and confidence. During this workshop we will look at the definition of dyslexia and the characteristic areas of difficulty, plus some additional areas of difficulty.

This workshop will explore:

  • Understand the theory around dyslexia.
  • how to create a supportive home environment.
  • use effective resources.
  • make everyday learning fun and stress-free.

These sessions are open to all parent carers in Somerset who have a child with additional needs and/or a disability.
