Description

Join us for an empowering training session, where we will explore the vital role of executive functioning. Executive functioning is the brain’s management system and how it affects daily life.

You will gain insight into what happens when executive functioning is impaired. And you will discover supportive strategies, tailored for neurodiverse children and young people.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • What executive functioning is and why it matters.
  • Common challenges faced by neurodiverse youth.
  • How to nurture self-motivation.
  • Tools for promoting independence in budgeting, financial management, and daily living skills.

These sessions are open to all parent carers in Somerset who have a child with additional needs or a disability.
