Back to all Children's (including The Local Offer) events

Description

If you have a household with more than one neurodivergent child, then you have most likely experienced their needs clashing. Perhaps you have a seeker and an avoider who annoy each other? Perhaps family days out are just not worth the hassle?

This workshop considers:

  • The four steps to calm(ish)
  • Flashpoints
  • Scenarios
  • Strategies

There will be an opportunity at the end of the presentation to discuss ‘live’ situations and trouble-shoot ideas and strategies that may help. These sessions are open to all parent carers in Somerset who have a child with additional needs and/or a disability.
