About the event

Living with both Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is not simply having “a little of each”. AuDHD is a unique neurotype with its own strengths, challenges, and ways of experiencing the world. While Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder often coexist, the interaction between the two can create a complex picture that is frequently misunderstood. As a result, many children, young people find that support aimed at a single condition does not fully meet their needs.

This insightful workshop is designed for parents, carers, who want to better understand the AuDHD experience. Together, we will explore how Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder can both complement and conflict with one another, and how understanding this unique neurotype can lead to more effective support and improved wellbeing.

By the end of this workshop, you will:
Have a deeper understanding of the AuDHD experience.
Recognise how Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder interact and influence behaviour, learning, and wellbeing.
Feel more confident in supporting AuDHD children and young people.
Leave with practical tools and approaches that can be applied at home.
