About the event

Does it sometimes feel like you are juggling completely different needs within the same family?

Many families are supporting more than one neurodivergent profile under one roof, including autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, sensory differences, anxiety, demand avoidance and learning differences. Often these needs exist across both children and parents, creating unique challenges as family members’ strengths, preferences and support needs interact.

This practical and supportive workshop explores how different neurodivergent profiles can both complement and clash, helping families better understand one another and find realistic ways to thrive together. Through a strengths-based and compassionate approach, we will explore strategies that reduce stress, improve understanding and create a more balanced family life.

In this workshop, we will explore:
How different neurodivergent profiles can interact within a family.
Understanding and balancing varying sensory needs.
Managing conflicting regulation styles and support needs.
Practical approaches for navigating everyday family life.
