About the event

Parenting a neurodivergent child can be rewarding, but it can also be exhausting. If you are feeling overwhelmed, running on empty, or constantly in survival mode, you are not alone.

This supportive workshop explores the realities of parent carer burnout, especially for those who may be neurodivergent themselves.

We will explore:
What burnout really looks like in neurodivergent parents.
The difference between stress, overwhelm, and nervous system shutdown.
Why traditional self-care advice often doesn’t work.
Recognising early warning signs before reaching crisis point.
Practical regulation tools for busy parents and carers.
Building sustainable support rather than cycling between crises.

This is a validating, honest, and supportive session. No judgement. No guilt. No “just try harder.” Just real conversations and practical strategies that acknowledge the challenges you face and honour your capacity.
